Pennsylvania Ballet - Romeo & Juliet

Dance in Philly has been good for a decade. We are a young city - with lots of energy. We move.

I saw Pennsylvania Ballet's production of Romeo & Juliet last Summer with my wife.

The pas de deux at the balcony blew me away. We had an almost perfect night. After the ballet the weather was so perfect we walked up the street a block to get some ice cream. As we walked back to our car we passed the Merriam stage door just as the dancers were coming out so we watched - so young! Then Juliet (Arantxa Ochoa) came out - what a star! She had huge, dark, seductive eyes, long black hair, and a beautiful willowy body that floated rather than walked down Locust Street.

It was a night of nights.
