Attack of the killer turtles

As I drove up my driveway yesterday - typically distracted, hardly noticing my environment - I thought I noticed something strange. Fortunately I avoided it. I walked back down the driveway to see what it was - and there I found a large turtle - at least 7 inches. Vic and I took some pictures - Vic says it's 6 inches long. Here it it is.

Look at the size of this baby! Actually he looks kind of mean. Thank heavens I'm 100 times bigger than he is. He would have eaten me alive if he were big enough.
