Goshenhoppen Folk Festival

What a lovely day Saturday was. Weather was perfect and so was the Goshenhoppen Folk Festival in the lovely, quaint little town of East Greenville, Pennsylvania. The Goshenhoppen Folk Festval is put on by the Goshenhoppen Historians every year to celebrate eastern Pennsylvania's German heritage.

The people in the fair look very much like Amish folk. Food was wonderful, costumes and displays plentiful, authentic, and interesting. These folk were Lutheran, Amish, Mennonite, Schwenkfeldter. Their is still an strong stock of these folks in Pennsylvania - they are decent, honest, hard-working.
