Tonight, Tuesday, January 8, 2007 - the day of the New Hampshire primary - Barack Obama appears to have been annointed by the media as next American emperor.
Remember that Oprah Winfrey first promoted Obama into the national spotlight. A lot of older, liberal white women are upset about Obama's rise - everyone else in the mainstream of the liberal base seems happy. This could be a good thing.
